How Modern Feminism is Killing Women

2nd May 2022

We find ourselves in a new era of free speech and liberty, and it's quite the paradox that women's rights seem to be taking a step backward. The original essence of feminism was all about creating equal opportunities for women, yet we now stand at a point in history where men are jumping into women's sports, despite vocal objections from other women. It's a situation even the likes of the NCAA have a hand in, pushing women to share changing rooms with men, which seems a tad counterintuitive.

And then there's the curious case of Railey Gaines who was labeled as transphobic and anti-feminist, when she's actually fighting for the rights of biological women. Those women who didn't luck into the body structure, bone density, or body mass of someone like Lia Thomas, who, for the record, didn't even make a splash in the rankings when he was still swimming with the guys. Yet as soon as he transitioned to being a woman, voila, he's beating an Olympic swimmer. It's a strange and unfair world, especially for women, where they now face opposition from men, feminist women and transgender women.

Modern medicine can do so much, but it does have its limitations. We see now how the minorities are justifying their actions in interfering with women's sports by saying that transgender women can take hormone pills to lower testosterone, etc. However, it's important to remember that changing bone density, body build, arm length, isn't as simple as flipping a switch, and attempting to do so can lead to permanent health issues.

In this curious landscape, it's the minority that seems to have the loudest voice, but not every loud opinion deserves a standing ovation. It's time we strike a balance between progress, inclusivity, and the preservation of women's rights without turning it into a full-blown circus.
